Sword Accessories

A sword scabbard, a display stand, a wall mount and what the blade needs for its upkeep. Everything that comes in handy once you own the sword.

Made to order

We have no sword of this type in stock right now. Tell us what you are after and we will source it as an individual commission.

A scabbard made to measure

A scabbard has to fit one particular blade: its length, its width at the guard and the shape of the guard itself. A good one holds the sword even upside down, yet releases it in one movement. It has a wooden core, a leather cover, a throat fitting, a chape at the tip and a suspension for the belt.

A made-to-measure scabbard can be ordered through us: tell us which sword it is for and give the dimensions of the blade and guard. We will ask the maker and come back with a price and a lead time.

Stands and wall mounts

Hang a sword away from radiators and from an outside wall, where damp collects. Wipe the blade with oil first — display is storage too.

Frequently asked

Will any scabbard fit my sword?
No. A scabbard is made to the length and width of one blade and to the shape of its guard. To order one we need the sword's dimensions.
Can I store a sword in its scabbard?
For a short while, yes; for months, no. Leather holds moisture and tanning agents, so a blade shut in a scabbard rusts where you cannot see it. For long-term storage keep the sword out of the scabbard with a thin film of oil.
